Hey Moe!

I love Gracie's face when she is sleeping. Her chubby cheeks look huge! For some reason, she reminds me of Curly from the Three Stooges. :-)

Tummy Time

I haven't posted in a while because both Gracie and I have slowly been getting over a very nasty cold. Here is Gracie during "Tummy Time." She STILL hasn't rolled over yet, stubborn girl. She is such a tease - she'll go halfway and then stop. She loves doing the airplane/Superman pose as seen in the last pic.

A New Talent

Gracie found her feet this weekend. She's been looking at them with a puzzled expression for quite some time, but now she knows how to grab them. She particularly likes to do it when we are changing her diaper. I just threw that last picture in there because I love her expression. She is such a happy baby, and she smiles right on cue for the camera.

A Mouth Full

Is Gracie trying to tell us she is ready for solid foods?

Toasty Toes

I was playing with Gracie today and I noticed that her feet were ice cold. I decided to put on her bunny slippers. She gave them a very curious look when she realized they were on her feet.

I'm Gonna Get You

Here is a quick video of Gracie chuckling. I hid behind the sofa, and I'd jump up and say, "I'm gonna get you!" She thought that was humorous.

Looking Back

I got very sentimental the other day and decided to reminisce. I made a little video of some footage taken here and there to share. There is even some footage of her birth (don't worry, it's G rated - I'm not that open with people). Hehe. Enjoy!

The Bare Truth

Well, we went to the doctor today for Gracie's four month check-up. Her height and weight are off the charts, literally! They don't have a percentile range for her. :-) Must be all that high-quality breast-milk. She has now outgrown her 3-6 month clothes even though she is only 4 months old. She weighes 16 lbs. 10 oz. and is 26.25 in. long. She had to get 4 shots today. I HATE when she gets shots. I feel so sorry for her. She just sits there peacefully, not knowing what is coming to her. Then, she gives this horrible scream, and with each shot her screaming gets progressively louder. She actually does really well; it only took me about a minute to get her calmed down. I hate to see her go through that though. I can't imagine how hard it must be on parents to have a child that is terminally sick and to see them go through so much pain. John and I feel so blessed that the Lord has given us such a healthy child. On a lighter note, I thought this was a cute picture. Little baby butts are so cute, but dangerous too. Changing diapers is sometimes like playing Russian roulette, you never know when the baby is loaded and ready to blow.

Happy Fourth of July!!!

Gracie showed her patriotism in this cute outfit made by her Mi-Ma (John's mom). I love the hat.

Tummy Time

Here is Gracie getting some unique tummy time via a pillow on Daddy's lap. I love her facial expressions.

Wrapped Up

Here is Gracie after a recent bath. John calls her his "little refugee" when she's all wrapped up.

Bookworm

Gracie seems to have developed a "taste" for reading. I got her a squishy book from Wal-Mart and she loves it. I love the last picture. She looks like she is thinking very hard.
